A forklift transmission is a rather vital part of the forklift. The transmission enables the forklift to move. This part connects the engine with the wheels. By connecting the engine and the wheels these parts are allowed to rotate in sync with each other. There are two types of transmission. A manual transmission system and on the other side an automatic transmission system. Just like with cars most modern forklift trucks are equipped with automatic transmissions, where older, even vintage, models are equipped with a manual transmission.
